International Energy Agency

Given the importance for long-term investors of the transition to a low-carbon economy and renewable energy sources, Pictet has joined forces with the International Energy Agency (IEA) to compile the World Energy Outlook 2016 (WEO). The WEO is the IEA’s flagship publication and acknowledged as the world’s most authoritative source for energy market analysis and forecasts.

Swiss Sustainable Finance

Pictet sits on the Board of Swiss Sustainable Finance (SSF), an association that promotes the integration of sustainability in the financial industry. In particular, it aims to make Switzerland a leading worldwide centre for sustainable finance.

Carbon Footprint

In our business operations we have set strict targets for reducing the Group’s carbon footprint per employee. Pictet’s headquarters in Geneva was built to minimise the building’s environmental impact. The following reports describe our in-house sustainable activities.

Sustainability Week for employees

In 2017, Pictet organised a “Sustainability Week” for all staff globally. The aim was to focus employees on their consumption habits while educating them on Pictet's actions towards Environmental, Social and Governance criteria.
