How did you adapt to the current situation?
It was initially very difficult to adjust to a situation of having to work on my projects while looking after a hyperactive 3-year old. It began to work much better when I understood my son just needed to be in the same room as me, so I started moving around the house with my laptop and working next to him. A useful piece advice from my colleagues who have kids was to check diaries with my husband first thing every day, to understand each other's priorities and meetings and organise childcare. That bit of coordination made it much easier. Now that my son is back at the nursery, it's been about finding the right permanent set-up - getting a new desk, the right chair etc. And incorporating exercise into an otherwise very sedentary life
Are you witnessing any impact on your team ?
I believe that the team has been able to work very efficiently by all being very clear on our shared priorities and goals. The crisis means a lot of our product promotion had to be postponed, leaving us to think about what is of real value to clients in such difficult markets. I think the clarity of purpose for all of us in the team - delivering these impactful weekly webcasts/emails - has made us very focused.
What did you learn about yourself?
I used to view cooking as a chore but I've found that I have really enjoyed providing hearty meals for my family every day to cheer them up. I have also become much more organised, planning work, food shopping and meals in advance for the first time in my life.

Any anecdote you could share with us?
Having spent the past 3 years convincing my colleagues to be more active on LinkedIn, it's been a great source of pride to see all our salespeople using the platform to stay connected to clients, helping us reach the milestone of 50,000 followers. We've also had an excellent engagement on our articles. I am so glad we have been refining our social media strategy for years so that we knew how to be present for our prospects and clients when the crisis hit.
What impact do you see for Pictet? For the working world?
I think it is a great opportunity for Pictet to demonstrate our solidity and our resilience. Certainly as an employee, I have found it very comforting to know that my employer is there to guide me in such unsettling times, both personally and professionally. We were always a caring company but we have just had an amazing demonstration of our concern for people's wellbeing.
