We run graduate programmes throughout the Group
Pictet Asset Management (Pictet AM)
Our graduate programmes offer a unique opportunity to develop a comprehensive view of the asset management industry from marketing and sales to investments, through a series of rotations.
Graduate trainees experience between 8 and 10 rotations in a number of international locations over a period of 18 months, enabling them to develop first-hand knowledge and familiarise themselves with our investment teams and our products. They gain exposure to a wide range of experts within the firm and form part of our international graduate network.
They also have the opportunity to develop their soft skills through individually tailored training programmes, helping them to deepen their personal branding and communication skills. On the technical side, they prepare for the CFA level 1 and level 2 qualification during the programme. Please see the brochure more information on the Pictet Asset Management graduate programmes.
Pictet Wealth Management (Pictet WM)
Our 18-month graduate programmes offer a unique opportunity to develop strong competencies in the wealth management industry while quickly specialising on one function.
Applicants may select from one of two Pictet Wealth Management graduate programmes: Investments and Etats-Major.
During the programme, our graduates work within one dedicated team, and a series of short rotations is planned to build complementary skills, develop first-hand knowledge and familiarise themselves with our activities. They gain exposure to a wide range of experts within the firm and form part of an international graduate network. On the technical side, they prepare for a specific certification, while the Group Graduate Training Programme aims to develop their soft skills. By the end, graduates should be fully prepared to take ownership of the position for which they have been trained.
Pictet Asset Services / Independent Asset Managers (PAS)
The programme allows graduates to acquire a comprehensive knowledge of our asset services business while also training in a specific function.
During the 18-month programme, graduates work within one team, involved either in client support or in operations or tax project management.
A series of short rotations helps graduates build complementary skills, develop first-hand knowledge and become familiarised with our activities, teams and financial products.
Pictet Trading & Sales (PTS)
Our Business Analyst programme is a unique opportunity to develop a comprehensive knowledge of the trading activity.
As a part of the Business Intelligence team, our graduate trainees sharpen analytical, IT and business skills to ensure that optimised solutions are designed, implemented and meet business needs.
The programme includes specific projects, a one week all-around programme on the trading desks and rotations either on a trading desk or in other departments depending on demand. It is also a springboard towards front-office responsibilities within PTS in due course, for those with the inclination.
Corporate Functions include the Group's non-banking activities, such as Compliance, Internal Audit, Legal, Communication, Information Security and Human Resources, both in Geneva and at our branches abroad. These functions are carried out by experts who work closely with the different business lines.
Our Graduate programmes, available mainly in Geneva and Luxembourg, give you the opportunity to discover the work of these units. In addition to being mentored by professionals, who will pass on their know-how to you, the programme you follow will be varied and enable you to get to know different services and activities and add to your existing skills..
Compliance unit and Tech&Ops division also offer other specific opportunities, designed for young graduates.
