A new flagship hotel in Valencia

Novotel is entering Valencia with a new flagship hotel in the Turia Garden, a strategic area of the city between the historic centre and the Palacio de Congresos.

The hotel will convert the former Expo Hotel. This 12-storey building will be completely renovated. The conversion project will include 370 rooms, a coffee shop and a restaurant, a rooftop terrace, a gym, a breakfast room, and a large meeting and coworking area. It will also have an adjacent parking space. The renovation will be led by the architecture and interior design studio, Mönica Fullana, and will integrate every detail of Accor's Midscale brand philosophy, "Your time, Your way".

This new Novotel will boast an attractive rooftop with a carefully designed outdoor pool and bar which promises to become a popular destination in the city of Valencia.

The hotel’s design will be modern and traditional, a mixture which reflects the architecture of the city. The Novotel Valencia will be the first in Spain to feature Sundukovy Sisters’ design, which is characterised by its modernity, timelessness, and elegance. This new Novotel concept has already been successfully implemented in other European cities such as Paris, Liverpool, or Amsterdam.

This flagship hotel will be the thirteenth hotel of the brand in the Iberia region, with hotels in other large cities including Madrid, Barcelona, Lisbon, Porto, Seville and Malaga. This new project adds to the brand’s existing network of more than 550 hotels worldwide and there are more than 175 planned to open before 2028.

The refurbishment project will comply with the sustainability standards and regulations set by the Accor group's decarbonisation policy.

This project has been launched thanks to the franchise agreement sealed between Accor and Pictet Alternative Advisors, the alternative investment division of Swiss private bank Pictet. The hotel will be managed by Hesperia Group.

Its opening is scheduled for the second half of 2024 and given its strategic location, will compete in the corporate and MICE segments, without forgetting the leisure and family segments that are so important in holiday periods and weekends.
